The Man Behind the Curtain

Sysadmin, scripter, digital forensics nerd, and wizard in disguise.
Former engineer for Apple, Microsoft, Cloudera and Jamf.
I run AdminJitsu to share what works, what breaks, and what’s actually fun about working in Unix land.
What is AdminJitsu?
I don’t know enough Unix geeks irl who want to listen to me geek out, so this is an attempt to get these ideas out of my head and into the world. These are the principles I am aiming for:
- Real-world sysadmin hacks, shell tricks, war stories, and the Unix/BSD corners Google ignores.
- No SEO spam, no filler—just honest guides, code, and plenty of dry humor.
- You’ll see code, screenshots, pop culture, and the occasional debugging disaster.
- I try to make software that I would want to use and write posts that I would want to read.
Check out my first Hello, World post for a taste of what’s in store!
